Ask for help… and directions
It’s important to have a group of people whom you admire, can learn from, and can turn to, because it’s just often too painful to learn it all yourself.

Notes from The Editor
Recognizing the first signs of distress can be difficult for us. We live in a culture where distress is often labeled “weakness”, so we try to hide it from the world and sometimes from ourselves. We’re reluctant to admit our human frailties. Unfortunately, this makes for a much more difficult journey than necessary. The following are some signs that it’s time to say, “Help!”
Your thinking isn’t clear.
It is difficult for you to take action- even to clean, or do the laundry.
You are scared, and you just do not like the events and circumstances surrounding your life right now.
You are either eating too much, or you are forgetting to eat, and stuff that you eat is not good for you.
Do not be afraid to open up, ask for help. Have two or three people who you can talk about those things.
Help is a gift-You’re worth it!
Promise yourself you will graciously give your helpers the gift of feeling needed. Tell them, “That would be wonderful. I accept, and please know how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness.”
My Thoughts are with you,
